Silhouette and Shadow

One,
Not knowing, care even less,
Those silhouette stares on the pavement,
Just holding on, trying all over,
Survive everything, just follow the rest,
Be as kind at it can, the unsung hero whom it adores best,
Hoping to be one, for it hates the attention,
and unafraid to be forgotten,
Then the backlight goes off,
The silhouette gone from the human eyes
Away for it shall be rest.

But little, only little do know, the silhouette still stay there,
Observing and smiling for what comes may.

Two,
Dim light on,
Appear a shadow,
Dancing happily under the dark starry sky,
Silly moves, yet seemingly fun and unaware,
of a figure with pair of eyes that stare,
along with the smiles and laughs that came after,
Seemingly enjoying the show,
of pure unintentional innocence.
When the shadow realized,it was filled with shy,
And it only took seconds,
for them to befriend.

Yet the figure is real, and the shadow is only a shadow,
That exist in the midst of darkness and light.
Therefore there is time when both seems close,
and some others filled with drifting apart.

Three,
The shadow and the silhouette are two different things,
The realm of reality and illusion,
But nay my dear,
It both exists as real and definite,
For in between,
All needed is a figure and some source of light.
Play with both, experiment with both,
And in times you'll see one of them,
Just one for each time, never both.

Though that, I am the silhouette
and I am the shadow.
